Avantera Elevate Review 2024 | Benefits, Alternatives & WARNINGS

With so many Nootropics on the market, it makes sense that some of them have tried to carve a niche for themselves offering something extra. While supplements like Feedamind check all the boxes for memory, focus, attention, motivation, and mood, others have swerved over to offering non-Cognitive benefits.

One such product is Avantera’s Elevate. One of their three products promising overall health and wellness, their Elevate promises to “clear the fog,” while also offering what they call “gut health.” Let’s check those claims against the science behind their ingredients.

Key Features

Overall Rating: 3/5

  • Only contains 5 ingredients with direct Brain benefits.
  • Inclusion of Turmeric may miss the mark on gut health.
  • Lacks multiple ingredients proven to have Nootropic effect.

Who is Avantera?

Avantera is a mission-driven company that is focused on overall wellness. Their three products are designed to be taken in unison or combination. Elevate for the day, Unwind for nights, and something they call Ageless for round-the-clock health.

They do get high marks for standing on their principles, with no genetically modified ingredients, being Vegan and Gluten-Free, and for submitting to third party evaluations. But they don’t have the impact ingredients as other Nootropics.

Pros

  • Vegan and Non-GMO.
  • 3rd party tested.
  • 30 day money back guarantee.
  • High dose of Bacopa Monnieri.

Cons

  • Doses aren’t transparent.
  • Not 100% for Cognitive Benefit.

Alternatives

Avantera has widened their product to include “gut health,” which is an ill-defined concept in this context. Their inclusion of Turmeric and Bioperine doesn’t provide probiotic benefit, and it dilutes the main purpose of a Nootropic. If you’re interested in supplements that are 100% for Cognitive Function, check out the best-researched alternatives.

Feedamind

Overall Rating: 4.9/5

The best formulated Nootropic we’ve seen is Feedamind. They’ve included all the best that science has to offer, and they’ve got those ingredients in the best doses for optimum effect. You can't go wrong with Feedamind.

  • Chocamine provides both antioxidants and Theobromine.
  • Dynamine gives you laser-focus.
  • Avena Sativa for results in minutes.
  • Zeaxanthin and Lutein from Marigold for improved mental processing.

NooCube

Overall Rating: 4.6/5

While Avantera tries to incorporate “gut health,” NooCube focuses on what’s going between our ears. Specifically, they have proven mood balancers that can keep your thinking uncluttered and clear.

  • L-Theanine and L-Tyrosine both reduce stress for better focus.
  • Pterostilbene lowers anxiety so you can stay motivated.
  • Huperzia Serrata for better memory.

Vyvamind

Overall Rating: 4.4/5

If Avantera looks a bit scatter-shot, and you want a straight-forward performance booster, get Vyvamind. You’ll notice faster and clearer thinking on day one, and you can scale your dose to meet your needs.

  • Designed especially for Salespeople, Programmers, and anyone in sprint mode.
  • Improves hand-eye-coordination.
  • Improves accuracy of fast decision making.

Benefits of Avantera Elevate

Before we get to the ingredients, and which of them can really help with your Memory, Mood, Focus, or Clarity, let’s dive into what Elevate does well.

Non-GMO

It’s becoming ever more important for consumers around the globe to know what’s in their food, beverages, and supplements. There’s wisdom to the adage “you are what you eat.” In this case, Avantera’s commitment to using only natural ingredients lends weight to their claim of working toward your overall wellness.

Only 7 Ingredients

This is a benefit, in many cases. While Feedamind and NooCube have exhaustive formulas that leave nothing out, other products, like Vyvamind, have gone for the less-is-more approach. In Avantera’s case they may have gone too far in taking things out, but for anyone who wants simple formulas, this is a huge selling point.

Low-Dose Caffeine

Millions of people are looking to Nootropics so they can stay away from high-stimulant products like energy drinks, coffee, and prescription drugs. If you’re one of those people, then Avantera’s use of 45 mg of Green Tea Extract as the only caffeine should appeal to you.

Ingredients and Evidence

Now for the less-than-great news. Avantera’s Elevate is a worthy entry into the Nootropic market, and all their benefits aside, their ingredients do have some omissions, and at least two of the ingredients they do include don’t have much in the way of Cognitive Benefit.

Bacopa Monnieri – 300 mg

Things start off awesome, with a high dose of Bacopa Monnieri, one of the most-studied and best-proven Nootropic ingredients on the market. Included in all of the best products, this natural herb can improve mental performance in all age groups.

L-Theanine – Dose Unknown

Theanine is a natural amino acid that helps cognitive performance mainly by reducing anxiety to help you focus on tasks. Additionally, the effects of Theanine increase when combined with Green Tea Extract, which is also in Elevate.

Turmeric – Unknown

Turmeric is included in what Avantera calls their “Mood and Gut Health Blend.” To be honest, however, I don’t see what it could possibly be doing in a Nootropic. I’ve researched Turmeric extensively, and it has multiple health benefits–none of which are necessarily “gut health” or cognition related.

CDP-Choline – Unknown

Back to the good stuff, Choline is the fuel for neuron firing, and without it there’s simply no brain function. I can’t say how much is in Avantera, though, because it’s grouped with Theanine on the label. Therefore we can’t really make a determination on its efficacy in this formula.

Green Tea Extract – 45 mg

Green Tea has been used for centuries as a calming beverage that can aid in meditation and activities requiring heightened focus. Modern science has provided multiple studies backing up these uses, both because of Green Tea really can reduce anxiety and improve attention.

Lion’s Mane – Unknown

In an odd twist, Avantera has Lion’s Mane listed under Mood and Gut Health, despite the large body of scientific evidence that it’s great for brain cell growth. It can have mood balancing benefits, but it’s tough to know how well it works in Elevate, because again, its dose isn’t listed independently.

Black Pepper Extract – Unknown

The last ingredient in Elevate is a branded black pepper extract that many of our readers probably already know: BioPerine. Excellent for nutrient absorption, it can ensure that you’re getting the maximum benefit of whatever supplement it’s part of. But I can’t go so far as to say it improves overall gut health, because the effects of black pepper don’t extend past the immediate meal or supplement it’s taken with.

Who is Avantera Elevate For?

Avantera Elevate seems geared toward people who are looking for a general wellness supplement, and who don’t mind taking multiple supplements throughout the day to get to their goals. Also, the target audience appears to be people who want to align themselves with a company that thinks about things like Mission Statements and Values.

Final Verdict

If you are interested in a company's “About Us” page, and like what you read on Avantera’s site, then I think there’s no harm in trying Elevate. There certainly isn’t anything in their products that’s bad for you, or that will harm your Cognitive Function.

On the other hand, there isn’t a lot in there that will help your Cognitive Performance, either. Products like Feedamind and NooCube simply offer more, and have more transparent ingredient doses. If you do want something stripped down, I recommend Vyvamind.
