For most men, the decline in testosterone levels with age and the subsequent reduction in energy & strength is inevitable. Many of us are already aware of some of the proven supplements to help with Low-T. A friend recently asked me to look into a product he saw on an–ahem–online retailer, so here’s my scientific analysis of Six Star Testosterone booster.
What is Six Star?
From the start I have to admit that I wasn’t sure exactly who Six Star supplement were. To complicate matters, their T-Booster is no longer listed on their products page. Their company seems more geared toward pre- and post-workout supplements, like hydration and protein shakes and mixes, as well as creatine products.
Who Should Use Six Star Testosterone Booster?
Anyone looking to use a Testosterone Booster should really understand what Testosterone really does for us. Next, doing good product research can give you an idea of what’s available at the top of the market–like the Great Green Wall Editor’s Pick, TestoPrime.
After that, begin with a side-by-side ingredient check. If you know you want the proven T-Boosting capabilities of D-Aspartic Acid, then you want to look for top-rated products like Testo-Max; of if you want more fast-acting approaches, then you know you want something like Testogen.
Six Star has a tremendously stripped down ingredient list, however, and so reviewing them is really about whether the ingredients on their list are powerful enough to make up for what they don’t have.

Six Star Benefits:
Six Star claims that you can expect to see better Testosterone in as little as a week, so that’s the bar I’m going to use to evaluate their ingredient list. Curiously, Six Star dossn’t include D-Aspartic Acid, perhaps the only T-Boosting ingredient with clinical evidence of fast-action.
For a frame of reference, the industry-standard T-Boosters usually offer money back guarantees that last for months, because sometimes it can take multiple weeks to reverse something as pervasive as hormone balance.Ingredients:
Six Star testosterone booster contains only five active ingredients to back its claims. These include:
Calcium — 50 mg
Calcium is an absolutely essential mineral, but at 50 mg per serving, I’m not sure it’s vital in this product. To give some perspective, according to the USDA there’s 299 mg of calcium in a glass of milk.
Rhodiola extract — 386 mg
Rhodiola Rosea extract, one of the big sellers on the front label of Six Star. There is some evidence that lowering stress and the stress-hormone Cortisol can increase total-T, but that’s usually achieved with Ashwagandha root. By contrast, the only Rhodiola-Testosterone study I could find only saw T increases about the same as taking nothing at all–and even then only after workouts.
Sodium — 5 mg
Sodium is also an essential component of healthy muscle contraction and relaxation. Its deficiency can also lead to issues like nausea, headache, and vomiting. That said, the recommended daily value of sodium is 2,300 mg per day, while Six Star only contains 5 mg per serving. So, the amount of sodium in Six Star is too small to have any meaningful impact on your body.
Ginkgo extract — 2.7 mg
Any regular reader of the Great Green Wall knows we’re about facts over hype, and helping people is more important than plugging a popular product or trendy ingredient. In that vein, I have to point out that the two most cited studies of Ginkgo on testosterone are not good.
In one study, because Ginkgo was able to increase Testerone in petri dishes, scientists gave male rats Ginkgo for 28 days; while there was increased sexual activity there was no signficant change to Testosterone. A study of human participants using ten times the Ginkgo Biloba for 14 days didn’t alter any hormone levels in men or women.
Boron Citrate — 100 mg
Sex Hormone-Binding Globulin (SHBG) is a protein that can lower T levels by binding itself to free testosterone. Boron prevents this from happening by acting as an inhibitor for SHBG. This is well documented in a 2011 study by Reza Naghii et al. which shows how Boron reduces SHBG concentration by 9% in just six hours. The same study also reported a 28% increase in T levels after 7 days of 10 mg Boron supplementation.
Though it is important to note that the actual Boron amount in Six Star is just 5 mg which can lead to smaller improvements in T levels. Check out Testogen if you want to experience the full benefit of Boron. This is because it contains 8 mg of Boron which is much closer to the 2011 study mentioned above.
Pros and Cons

Does Six Star Really Work?
At this point I have to say the jury is out. Unlike products like TestoPrime, Testo-Max, and Testogen, which each have a dozen proven ingredients, I just don’t see the same rigorous formula in Six Star.
Every body is different, however, and that means that Six Star could be working for active consumers. It has 4 and 5 star reviews on all the online sellers’ websites, and that shouldn’t be taken lightly.
When And How To Take Six Star Testosterone Boosters?
Each serving of Six Star contains two caplets and it requires you to take two servings per day for a total of four caplets daily.
You can consume these caplets at any time during the day. Plus, there are no restrictions about taking them before, after, or during your meals either. That said, from our experience, the best time to take a dietary testosterone booster is one dose before breakfast and the second before dinner.
Some users also wonder what to do if four caplets a day are a bit too much for them. In this situation, they can cut Six Star’s recommended dosage in half, but there’s a good chance that doing so will slow down the end results.
Are There Any Side Effects?
Six Star does not provide any information regarding its potential side effects. This lack of info is a bit alarming, but we did not find reports of any recurring side effects in Six Star’s customer reviews. This makes sense given its small number of natural ingredients, all of which are generally safe on their own.
The inclusion of Sodium in its formula could be problematic for men with high blood pressure. Fortunately, Six Star contains only 5 mg of Sodium which is less than 1% of its daily recommended value and shouldn’t cause any issues.
That said, this doesn’t mean that this T-booster is 100% safe for everyone, since everyone has a different physiology. Plus, factors like age and medical history can alter one’s experience with a supplement as well.
So, if you notice any unexpected side effects, stop using Six Star immediately and consult your doctor.
How Much Is It And Where To Buy?
Each bottle of Six Star contains 60 caplets and is meant for 15 days. The supplement is listed on Six Star’s official Amazon store which you can visit by clicking here.
Unfortunately, the supplement is currency unavailable and there are no reports on when it will be back in stock.
In the meantime, we recommend checking out Testo-Max; another popular fitness-focused testosterone boosters. It claims to be a safer alternative for Sustanon growth steroids and offers accelerated muscle growth, increased stamina, and boosted libido. Testo-Max also promises to show positive results within the first two weeks of use.
Customer Reviews
Customer reviews for Six Star testosterone booster are generally quite positive. This is clearly illustrated by its 4.2/5 star rating with 5,800+ unique reviews. Most of these reviews are from men who’re impressed that this T booster actually delivers on its proposed benefits and performance-enhancing promises.

Final Thoughts
The only thing holding us back from recommending this more is the limited extent of its proposed benefits. The thing is, having a strong focus on fitness is not an issue. Unfortunately, Six Star doesn’t offer any other common benefits associated with testosterone boosters like enhanced libido or faster fat reduction.
So, if you’re looking to just improve your strength, stamina, and athletic performance in general, Six Star is a solid choice. Other than that, we recommend checking out TestoPrime and Testogen for their all-encompassing health benefits.
