T Hero Review 2024 | Is It Legit & Side Effects?

I’ve reviewed a number of great T-Boosting supplements, like the absolute best of the best, TestoPrime and Testo-Max. So I try to keep my ear to the ground whenever a new company hits the scene. A reader recently asked me about Essential Elements, and their product T-Hero®. The motto at Essential Elements is “Not magic, just science.” So I decided to put their product to the test, as it were, and see what the science really tells us about T-Hero.

What is T-Hero?

T-Hero is a T-Booster with a stripped down ingredient list that tries to focus on secondary testosterone effects rather than simply improving T production. Unlike Testo-Max–which can provide powerful body-building benefits–or a supplement like TestoPrime that can actually increase testosterone production, T-Hero attempts to bring your biochemical processes into a healthier rhythm.

Who is Essential Elements?

Born right in the US, Essential Elements is a health-focused company that tries to bring simplicity to supplement formulas. They offer a wide range of joint supplements, nootropics, heart and immune support, and even hydration support products.

  • How T-Hero Works

Essential Elements only uses five ingredients, which may be great for production, but it does leave out some other ingredients we’ve seen are successful, like Ginseng and Fenugreek. There are three basic claims with T-Hero, and we’ll break each one down in turn, to look at what the evidence says to back them up–or prove them wrong.

    Claim: Regulate Cortisol

It might seem like a lot of fluffy armchair psychology, but our stress levels can have tremendously bad impacts on our health. One of the major reasons for that is the stress-hormone Cortisol. This hormone’s job is to help our bodies make chemical decisions during literal “fight or flight” scenarios.

Perhaps one of the biggest secrets of Cortisol is that it absolutely kills Testosterone.

Which brings us back to T-Hero’s use of Ashwagandha root. Studies have shown it can reduce Cortisol. Translation: higher Testosterone. Ashwagandha can literally help clear the stress junk out of our bodies and help clear up our blood-sugar and let our Testosterone get back on track.

That being said, products like TestoPrime have the same levels of Ashwagandha root, plus other proven, active T-Boosting ingredients like D-Aspartic Acid.

Verdict: True, but doesn’t actively help produce more Testosterone.

    Blocks Estrogen

One of the claims that T-Hero makes is that it helps by balancing our Estrogen and Testosterone levels.  One way they say they can do this is with Diindolylmethane, or DIM. In T-Hero, this ingredient actually can actively block the production of estrogen. It’s so effective at blocking estrogen production, it’s even been studied to help prevent thyroid cancer.

One issue here, though, is that the jury is still out on DIM as a benefit for testosterone. In fact, in one study of DIM, only 15 of 26 participants saw a testosterone increase–and 6 actually saw a decrease. In another study, researchers proved that DIM may be the strongest antagonist of androgen receptors in the natural world. That’s good news if you’re fighting prostate cancer–bad news if you’re trying to improve your total-T.

Verdict: True in that it blocks Estrogen; but doesn’t have a good track record with Testosterone.

Provides the Building Blocks of Testosterone

The final thing T-Hero claims is that it can help us with the tools to keep creating testosterone in our bodies. They do this with Boron and a Shilajit Extract known as Fulvic Acid.

Turns out that T-Hero is correct about this one. Boron has been known for decades to be directly correlated to more testosterone. In fact, one study found that men taking Boron for as little as one week had almost a 40% increase in testosterone. That same study found that the increase was largely due to Boron helping the body break Testosterone off of blood cells (where it’s counted as “total T”), and let it work through the body as bioavailable, or Free Testosterone.

Next, the Shilajit’s Fulvic Acid has seen a huge increase in popularity–and for good reason. Recent studies have found that Shilajit can increase testosterone in men from 19% to a whopping 31%. And that’s not all. Shilajit can also boost ATP (adenosine triphosphate), the basic unit of energy in the muscles.

That being said, there are a number of studies showing that Zinc and Vitamin D are just as important for Testosterone production, as found in products like Testogen and Prime Male.

Verdict: True; but not as effective as in combination with Zinc and Vitamin D.

    All Ingredients

For a full review, we should always take a look at the whole product. In T-Hero the focus is on simplicity. The flip side of a sparse formula list is that it is missing some other proven ingredients like I’ve seen in TestoPrime, like D-Asp, or Fenugreek In Testo-Max.

    Ashwagandha Root – 600 mg

Like we talked about above, this powerful herb is known to not only lower the feelings of stress and anxiety, but even to lower the stress hormone Cortisol, and known T-Killer.

    Shilajit Extract – 500 mg

Used for centuries in the regions and cultures around the Himalayas, this powerful folk-medicine has finally made its way into mainstream clinical trials. Now the word’s out, and everyone knows it works.

    Diindolylmethane (DIM) – 100mg

Lower’s estrogen. But it also may have harmful impacts on Testosterone production, especially because it can block our bodies’ androgen receptors, which could get in the way of using what T we do have.

    Boron – 5 mg

Most vitamins and minerals on supplement bottles are already in our breakfast cereals. At last comes Essential Elements, who not only include a mineral that really works, but a mineral you probably won’t get without taking it on purpose. Here it is.

    BioPerine – 5 mg

We didn’t mention it above, because strictly speaking it doesn’t have a direct, or even correlative effect on Testosterone. What it does do, though, is dramatically increase the amount of the other ingredients you’ll be able to absorb at once from T-Hero. It’s the little engine that makes this whole train go.

    Yohimbine Hydrochloride – 2 mg

Like the BioPerine, I didn’t mention it above because it’s not something that has a lot of good science behind it for testosterone use. But what there is proof of makes it worthwhile on this ingredient list–as powerful help in the bedroom. First, it is a powerful fat-loss supplement, recommended in one study for its use by elite athletes. Second, it has been deemed a useful therapy for erectile dysfunction by a prestigious international journal.

  • When And How To Take T-Hero?

There isn’t a lot of information on their website about doses; from my experience, I would start with the serving size on their label (2), once a day.

    Are There Any Side Effects?

I’m familiar with all of the ingredients on this list, independently, and have never seen any adverse effects. However, you should always consult a physician before beginning a new exercise or supplement routine.

    Cost, Shipping & Returns

A one-time purchase of T-Hero is $39–but drops to only $29 for six. If you get a subscription, however, you can get a new bottle automatically every month for only $32, or 6 bottles twice a year for $23 each. Subscriptions also come with free shipping, and all purchases have a 365 day money back guarantee.

    Customer Reviews

I combed through the reviews on their website, and I can’t put a lot of stock in the negative reviews. There were only 5 one-star reviews, and they sound like they were written by people who wanted a miracle cure–take a pill, do nothing, get magic. But Essential Elements products don’t work like that–in fact, almost nothing does. The reviewers who watched their diet and exercise, and took T-Hero, all had rave reviews.

    Final Thoughts

In the end, T-Hero may be a good supplement for those new to Testosterone Boosters. It has a pared-down ingredient list that may be easier for some people to get a handle on. If you’re looking for a more comprehensive formula, however, there are alternatives you should look into.

No. Absolutely not. It’s safer than any steroid, effective, and won’t trigger any tests you ever have to take.

Yes. All the ingredients in T-Hero are safe for most adults; if a person is pregnant or breastfeeding, of course, they should consult their physician.
